Welcome to Rivers of Hope Counseling. Charmaine Dockett, LPC and founder of Rivers of Hope Counseling, has spent years working with adults to achieve restoration in their lives through personalized treatment, faith-based counseling, and unrelenting compassion. She brings authentic listening joined with the power of hope into the counseling relationship. When life brings its seasons of challenges and difficulties, Charmaine is confident that a road traveled together is the beginning of change. She believes in the uniqueness of individuals without judgment, and brings faith for the faithful and faithless.

Hello! I am currently a licensed Resident in Counseling and Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider. I received my bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice, a master’s degree in Professional Counseling. My clinical experience includes providing support to sexual assault and domestic victims in the courtroom; juvenile and adult sex offenders /sexual violent predators in residential treatment facilities and community; public school Pre-K through 12th; and inmates in the department of corrections.

Keisha Manior-Richardson

Greetings! Keisha is a Licensed Resident in Counseling and Qualified Mental Health Counselor in Virginia. She completed Master of the Arts degrees in both Community Counseling and Urban Education from Norfolk State University. With a military up-bringing, it has been her passion to support, empower, guide, and strengthen individuals and their families for over 16 years. Keisha provides therapy to individuals ages 22 and older, along with couples and families.

Jasper “Boomer” Boomer is a License Resident Counselor with a master’s degree in counseling from Argosy University as well as a master’s in education from George Mason University. He is an Army Veteran with 15 years of experience in Behavioral Health specializing in substance use addiction, Anxiety, PTSD, and Depression.

He earned his Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Mason University. Before entering the counseling field, Eamonn taught special education for three years and worked in mental health crisis de-escalation and prevention for five years. Eamonn has worked with clients experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related challenges, obsessive/compulsive thoughts or behaviors, stage of life challenges, family or work stressors, gender and sexual identity related challenges, and difficulties specific to older adults.

I graduated magna cum laude from Regent University in 2015 with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have experience working with various populations over the past 8 years including children, adolescents, teens, young adults, as well as the aging, terminally ill, those in marriage crisis or a family struggle, and adults going through a life transition. I have also worked with individuals dealing with the mental health of a family member or facing legal situations.
