Resident In Counseling

We travel the road with you, hope for the hopeful and hopeless! We pair authentic listening with the power of hope.
I strive to help every client reach their goals, whether it’s to “just stay alive” or to “determine the meaning of life.” Everyone can benefit from therapy and I am here to help you on your journey to better wellness and optimal mental health. I believe in meeting clients where they’re at, in supporting them in every part of their journey, and that there is always something to gain in therapy. Whether you are experiencing clinical depression, psychosis, disordered eating, self-harm, or relationship struggles, I am here to help you navigate your way through those stormy waters.
My special interest is eating disorders and I am prepared to help individuals combat their EDs cognitions and behaviors. I utilize methods from CBT/DBT, schema-focused therapy, and even existentialism to help clients to improve their lives and maintain recovery. I also work closely with clients with trauma, PTSD, and borderline personality disorder.
I provide each and every client with compassion, empathy, and unconditional positive regard to build rapport and develop the therapeutic relationship. Research indicates the most important aspect of counseling is the client-counselor relationship and I am eager to build this relationship with all my clients to best guide them in their journey to recovery.
