Licensed Resident In Counseling
Sharon Williams
We travel the road with you, hope for the hopeful and hopeless! We pair authentic listening with the power of hope.
Hello! My name is Sharon Williams, and I am a licensed LPC-Resident in Counseling. I graduated magna cum laude from Regent University in 2015 with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have experience working with various populations over the past 8 years including children, adolescents, teens, young adults, as well as the aging, terminally ill, those in marriage crisis or a family struggle, and adults going through a life transition. I have also worked with individuals dealing with the mental health of a family member or facing legal situations.
My style of counseling is empathetic, non-judgmental, and collaborative. I want to provide a safe place and a supportive environment for you to feel heard, understood, and open to becoming the most authentic version of yourself. I try to use a wide variety of therapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, person-centered therapy, mindfulness techniques, as well as play therapy , but mostly, I want you to be an active participant in the therapy process, so we will work together to determine the best treatment process for you.
Helping people restore, rebuild, or reconcile something within themselves or with others, is something I am passionate about. Walking with you on that journey is a great honor and privilege that I do not take lightly. I feel confident that whatever you need restoring or repairing in your life can be accomplished.
So, when you’re ready to take those steps, contact me to schedule a meeting.
We’ll walk this out together.
