Licensed Resident in Counseling
Marli Wright
We travel the road with you, hope for the hopeful and hopeless! We pair authentic listening with the power of hope.
My name is Marli and I am a resident in counseling. I graduated from George Mason University with my Master’s Degree in Community Counseling. Prior to becoming a counselor, I was an elementary school teacher for sixteen years. I decided to become a counselor based on
my own life experiences and seeing how much counseling helped me. I have worked mainly with young adults and teenagers but am interested in working with all populations. I have a lot of experience working with teenagers and young adults as they transition into being independent.
I enjoy using mediation and mindfulness in sessions but also CBT which focuses on how our thoughts, feelings, and actions are all connected. As a counselor, I focus on making sure that all my clients are comfortable and that I develop healthy relationships with each and every person. I
believe that everyone can benefit from counseling and that counseling allows people to grow as a person. I am compassionate about helping others and creating strong relationships with others.
For anyone interested in an endeavor to engage with these services, you are one appointment away from discovering hope and empowerment that is uniquely catered for your life’s journey!
