We travel the road with you, hope for the hopeful and hopeless! We pair authentic listening with the power of hope.
Hi, my name is Katrina Williams.
I am currently a licensed Resident in Counseling. I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I am currently working on my PhD in Forensic Psychology.
My clinical experience includes the areas of community-based counseling, residential treatment, private counseling, autism spectrum disorders, and crisis intervention. I have a great deal of experience with trauma informed care and working with individuals who struggle with self-harming behaviors, depression, anxiety. Marriage and family therapy as well as members of the LGBTQ population. When providing therapy, I utilize a multidimensional approach based on the needs and successes of my clients. However, my current passion is researching, understanding, and implementing therapeutic techniques that focus on the concept of shadow work and self-introspection.
I believe that “There is no standard normal. Normal is subjective. There are seven billion versions of normal on this planet.” -Matt Haig but with effort and collaboration, we can work together to assist you in identifying your normal. If I not the right therapist for you on this journey, I will work with you to identify a more suitable therapist.
