We travel the road with you, hope for the hopeful and hopeless! We pair authentic listening with the power of hope.
Claire Tran is a Licensed Resident in Counseling. She earned her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and is working towards state licensure. She has experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. Claire’s main areas of expertise are anxiety disorders, depression, LGBTQ+ community, life transitional concerns, skill building enhancement, coping skill development, and trauma management. Claire has an interest in couples counseling and trauma-focused care.
Claire is a certified SYMBIS facilitator offering premarital counseling for couples of all ages. Claire often sees clients who are hesitant to engage in therapy because of the fear of being judged or feeling as if change is impossible.
Her goal as a therapist is to help her clients learn to trust in the process of therapy and to use their own potential to achieve their goals. Her approaches are person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and motivational.
Her empathetic understanding and demeanor not only help her clients feel heard and respected but also help create an atmosphere that helps spark self-disclosure, self-realization, and emotional healing. Clients have the tools and skills necessary for change and her role is to help them identify and access those resources.
