Hello, my name is Adam Blevins. I am currently a licensed resident in counseling and my specialties are stress management, resiliency, and trauma recovery. As a first responder, I have been on the receiving end of exposure to copious amounts of distress and exposure to traumatic events while also trying to navigate life in general. Allow me to assist you in managing your stress, navigating your recovery, and building resiliency for when future challenges arise.

I have a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, a master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling and am pursuing a PhD in Trauma Informed Care, all from Liberty University. I am a credentialed professional in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) and the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF). I am also a trained provider in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
