Licensed Clinical Social Worker
We travel the road with you, hope for the hopeful and hopeless! We pair authentic listening with the power of hope.
Martrisha “Trish” Rodriguez, originally from Oakland, California, completed her Bachelor of Social Work at Kansas State University and Master of Social Work: Specializing in Clinical Behavioral Health at University of Maryland, Baltimore. She has over 8+ years in the human service field and is currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Virginia and South Carolina.
Trish has experience in working with vast populations including forensics, human trafficking/trauma survivors, military families, adolescents and adults. She has helped individuals work through vital life issues and mental health concerns that include women issues, depression, trauma, substance abuse/use, sexual assault, LGBTQ+ issues, anxiety, self-esteem, grief, anger/crisis management, and an overall desire to be emotionally healthy.
Trish’s person-centered approach to therapy is nonjudgmental, supportive, and empathetic. She will meet you where you are, with a combination of skills from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and more.
Let’s unpack baggage that inhibits you from being emotionally healthy and living the life you desire! I want you to walk away from therapy feeling equipped with tools to navigate life. Simply, I am your co-pilot, and you are flying this plane. Let’s do the work!
Please feel free to reach out via text, phone, or email. I am offering evening hours, with the option for Saturday hours if needed. Looking forward to listening to you.
Fun Fact: I always have a crystal/gem on my person. My favorite crystals are Amethyst and Emerald.
