She can be found working with any adult looking for help, finding her niche with first responders, therapists, teachers, lawyers, doctors, and couples. Her clinical focus is eclectic with a basis in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) which focuses on mindfulness, emotional regulation, healthy relationships, and distress tolerance. She often uses thoughtful questioning and curiosity throughout the session.
Marianne has gained knowledge through her personal, educational, and professional experiences. She strongly believes that everyone could benefit from therapy. She is a very relational therapist, using humor and compassion throughout her sessions. She knows therapy can be scary and is committed to creating a warm and non-judgmental space for her clients.
She has worked in different positions for almost 30 years gaining insight into how to work with and understand others.
