We travel the road with you, hope for the hopeful and hopeless! Authentic listening paired with the power of hope = Rivers of Hope Counseling.

My name is Jeremy Rash and I am a Resident in Counseling. I have almost 7 overall years of experience working in community based mental health services (i.e. Intensive In-Home, Mental Health Skill Building) as well as outpatient, MAT substance abuse. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Virginia Tech in 2014 and my Master’s in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2020.

My style is always person-centered and highly individualized as I firmly believe that relationship is the key ingredient to healing but I have the most experience with Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and hope to be trained in EMDR one day soon. Past diagnoses I have treated include PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar I, Schizophrenia among others as well as Opioid Use Disorder. I am also LGBTQ and Trans aligned and always mindful of others culture. My hope is to engage each client in an open, honest, authentic, and trusting relationship and then slowly start to identify faulty thinking patterns that keep us stuck and encourage you to move forward with healthier thoughts about self and the world. I am truly grateful that you have chosen me and Rivers of Hope on your journey to health and look forward to meeting you soon!
